As the self-proclaimed queen of Silent Pines, Margrit is a force to be reckoned with. Not surprising for a girl hailing from one of the oldest families in town. She rules the high school on a solid platform of fear. Everyone knows that crossing Margrit spells doom. Strangely, though, no one can recall a time when Margrit did something actually horrible to them. (With two notable exceptions named Lexi and Knucker.)
Contrary to her frightening reputation, Margrit cares about the people in her school and her town. She’s heavily active in volunteer work and charities. If you ask her for help or a favor, she will come through without question. She’ll simply expect you to return that favor later, but it will never be something outside of your capability to repay.
Margrit hopes to wrap up her last year of high school the way any good ruler would: being crowned Prom Queen and Valedictorian.

Margrit is an eighteen-year-old senior at Silent Pines High School. She works tirelessly to make sure she is an A+ student and is seated securely in the top 5% of the class. Not only is she Class President, Margrit also runs the Events Committee, Honor Society, and is a ruthlessly diligent Cheer Captain. Her resume for college next year will be fantastic.
Her favorite subject is French.

Margrit has a wide and varied social circle of minions… but very few actual friends. People just don’t like her. She’s bossy, blunt, and far too opinionated. That’s fine for her, though, as she just doesn’t have time to keep up with unimportant people.
Her closest friends are Owen Dewhitt, Julian Hollinger, and—as much as she hates to admit it—Angela Mercy. Owen and Julian are the only two people in the world who understand her. Angela and Margrit, meanwhile, coexist in a complicated dance of mutual respect under a veneer of apparent loathing.
Margrit works hard to impress her parents but isn’t certain they even notice. They are far too busy focusing on her older brother Scott because he is the true heir to the family name, despite the fact he’s a useless putz and wants nothing to do with them. She gets along far better with her little sister Tallulah.
